Bela Seafood Cafe & Bar in Jimbaran

The location is great on the beach and the food was pretty good with healthy portions but a couple things bothered me. I expressed interest in a fixed menu with 4-5 different types of seafood when talking with the man who sat me only to be told when I sat that the “small portions” of two do the 4-5 seafood options were unavailable so the fixed menu couldn’t be served. Further, the service is really lacking. I had to look around and wave my arms for several minutes several Times to get a waiter. Finally, they don’t advertise as cash only but refused to take my card when I went to pay my bill. I understand it’s Southeast Asia and you can’t rely on a card but it’s easy enough to put cash only on your menu. Just made the service side of things very frustrating.

Try the mussels with special sauce... Really tasty....

Quite good, tasty seafood, and I just realize that the price of its sambal matah and its veggie ain't included on the package. And no waiter or waitress told me about that. Nice way to make more money ay?

Good food although it's a little bit expensive. But any other places besides Bela also has the same price more or less.The reason I choose Bela each time I bring some of my friends/guests, Bela is not too crowded, so then less waiting for the food ready to eat while the taste is also good. Most of the time, there is the same lady who serve when the customer choose what kind of seafood they want. I think she is the owner. A friendly lady.

I ordered package. For 2 person. There are prawns, clams, squid satays, veggies and crab. Overall, the seafood ia good enough especially the clams..

For a cheaper and good food. This is the place for seafood in Jimbaran where most of the restaurants charges insane prices.

It was a nice ambience, nice view, beautiful sunset view although got blocked by the cliff eventually. But we liked the food so much and felt prices were really reasonable

I always wanted to came here when im at Bali, but the food is not as good as before. And the staff not really makes me happy. And also my sis found 'something' in the rice. I dont think i want to go here again.

Tried some other seafood restaurants in Jimbaran, but the first time I tried Bela Seafood, it was love at first taste! All food is grilled with super delicious ...full support staff especialy when dealing with family group with little kid...so nice

Great seafood! We sat in front of the water in the sunset and it was beautiful. The bbq clams and crazy snapper were great.

I loved this place! I’ve been to couple of other Jimbaran seafood restaurants too, but their food was actually memorable and beyond expectations! The fish we ordered was grilled to perfection, the prawns were great, but my favourite was the clams/shells. I literally ate almost 3 whole plates on my own, it was that good! The staff was nice and friendly too. Would definitely be coming back!

I didn't know, why this resto was not crowded than the others resto around. Actually, this resto has a good taste of foods. The grill shrimp, grill squid, grill fish, and grill shell, are the best. unfortunetly, this resto doesn't has another menu except grill menu. so, i guess this resto is only for grill menu.

Not really satisfied with the taste. But I still had a nice dinner with my friends on the beach

My preference for Jimbaran Seafood. Not overpriced, great service, the food never failed me.

Seafood is good. Service is bad like everywhere on that beach. How come it is so good in Bali and so bad on Jimbaran beach?

Seafood dinner on the beach anyone?Lots of parking. Bela’s grilled clams hit the spot every time. There’s always a band that plays on the beach, adding mood to an already romantic sunset dining experience. This place is not very busy and I wonder why since they seafood is pretty much like the rest of them on the beach.

Fresh fish, prawn, shell n spicy fish soup. The condiments are great too....pricing arr affordable. Service was quite slow, i supposed because the way it is prepared....great view during sunset, busker performed from one restaurant to the other, n nearby grilled corn are available.

Bali, beaches and seafood is a great combination. The seafood are so fresh and delicious. Enjoy it under moonlight is incredible. Afternoon to night is the best time I guess. Kerang is one of the best I like so much. I do recommend this restaurant for those who love seafood.

I do not know what the sauce is, but I can say it was great pleasure to eat with seafood. Also, dining on the beach was an exotic experience.

You pay for the view. Food is below average and the prices are on the higher end.

Local seafood... Quite pricey but still reasonable... Service is average... But good for seafood fine dining in Bali

Been there to experience Balinese seafood. Jumbo prawn RP310k, red snapper RP160k, quite expensive compared with other cuisines. Sunset on that beach is fine but not best as you may see it’s blocked by cliff..so yes it’s nice but not highly recommended.

Taste is standard. Food is coming after 1 hour waiting. Then ask for more sambal, they answer is not available, but when next table ask, they can deliver the sambal. What a service.
